Creating an account is very easy to do. Click here to proceed on your own, or continue reading for a brief tutorial. In order to enroll in a class, you will need to create an account. It's very easy and only takes a minute. (Some users will also need to do this, in order to try out the Sample Forum.) Later, you'll be able to edit your profile to reflect your preferences. More information on that is at the bottom of this page. If you try to access the Sample Forum without first creating an account, you may see the message at right. If so, click on Yes. |

Cookies must be enabled on your computer, in order for the software to remember your login information. (Most computers are already set up this way. This can be reset anytime you're on the web. Click on your web browser's help button, in the top toolbar, and look for security information.) To create a new account, click on the labeled button. A new page will appear, asking for a little personal information. Be sure to record your username and password, noting that BOTH ARE CASE SENSITIVE. Ready to create an account? If so, click here. |

After completing the account information, a confirmation email will be sent to you. This can take as much as 45 minutes to arrive.
Once you receive the confirmation email, you're ready to log in to the Sample Forum. (If you're enrolling in a class, you'll also receive a second email with the class key/password. This may take a day or two.) NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, you should immediately edit your profile after logging in.
