In these days of tight airport security, I've found it difficult to keep ID, tickets, boarding passes, cash and credit cards both accessible, and secure.  My solution was to create a travel necklace.  Although it's very decorative on the front, its primary purpose is to carry my stuff.  It's just big enough to hold a passport, with pockets for my ID and credit card on the back.  (I KNOW I don't want to show that ID picture on the front!!!)

When making it, I included all the colors I would be wearing on my trip.  I just laid down little bits of raw edged fabric, added some stitching, and threw in a few beads.  I love the results, and everyone else seems to, as well. My travel necklace has proven to be very useful, when flying.  But, when at home, I often wear it as jewelry!
